Hats and Wheels

Rowen loves cowboy hats and anything with wheels. He calls his tricycle a "motorcycle". One of his favorite games is to get pushed around in the wheelbarrow, or attempt to push it himself.
He is definitely all boy, just look at that messy face and those dirty knees!

Fun with Aria

Rowen and Aria (my sister's little girl) are 4 months apart. They are so hilarious when they get together. Aria came to play a few weekends ago and the two of them were quite the little entertainers!

Dress Up

Sunshine Farm

We went to Sunshine Farm to check out the chickens, goats, quail, pigeons, and the organic garden. Rowen enjoyed it all but mostly wanted to sit on the tractor and four-wheeler! We did convince him to get off long enough to check out the other goodies, including this strawberry, which he picked and washed himself. Yummy!

Playground Fun!

We went to a park in Montgomery (the birthplace of the Texas flag!). Rowen and Carter just couldn't get enough of the slide...

Bluebonnet Boys

Rowen, Carter, and Will had a blast in the bluebonnets. It was hard to keep them still long enough to get a shot!

Lake Conroe Trip

We took a weekend trip to Lake Conroe last weekend with my brother, Chace and his wife Jenny and their two boys. Carter is 3 and Will is 1 so we had our hands full but it was a lot of fun. The bluebonnets were growing in huge fields everywhere so we got some great shots of the boys. This is one of my favorites.

I found this Pigpen shirt and had to have it for the little monster. After all, who else is there to blame?...

I love his smile, with his happy eyes and adorable dimple. How could anyone resist that?

Already hooked on a Harley!

Rowen loves to sit on our friend's Harley and make vroom vroom noises. He is very into safety, though; He doesn't want to sit on the bike without the cool helmet!

It's about time...

I have thought about putting a blog together for some time, but finally decided to bite the bullet. Hopefully this will help everyone keep up with Rowen a little better, especially those who are far away. He is growing like a weed, and has an amazing vocabulary. He is even using some complete sentences, like my favorite,"Binky, where are you?" :)
He has a mouthful of teeth, and he loves to smile and show them off. He is about as rambunctious as a little boy can be, and is always getting into something. He loves motorcycles and big trucks, tractors, and anything that flies - surprise! He is also into power tools and recently got his first drill and chainsaw. He carried the (toy)chainsaw into the restaurant where we had lunch and is now napping with it. I can't wait to see what he does with it when I actually put the batteries in!
